Boldness: not hesitating or fearful in face of actual danger or possible danger or rebuff

Reflection: To have the courage you must first try to strive to be bold and not have in any doubt in you in a situation of danger. Without this you are nothing more than a sitting duck waiting to be killed. this is what it takes to be bold!
Example: Those of the Venetian artists are remarkable for the boldness of their coloring.
